Join the Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME) for a free, one-hour webinar on how a physician practice can benefit from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The course will provide an overview of the Act, the latest meaningful use definitions, and the next steps necessary to implement and start physicians down the path to collect up to $44,000 each.

The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME) has been designated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for North and South Carolina. CCME is a physician-sponsored, nonprofit organization that has been working to ensure and improve the quality, cost effectiveness, and accessibility of health care in the Carolinas for more than 25 years. Through their federal contract with CMS, they have four years of experience assisting physicians, select, purchase, and implement EHRs.

North Carolina MedAssist Central Fill Pharmacy webinar
Please join Care Share Health Alliance and Jason Baisden of the North Carolina Association of Free Clinics (NCAFC) for a webinar about North Carolina's latest resource for community based health organizations - the North Carolina MedAssist Central Fill Pharmacy. NC MedAssist a pilot program of the NCAFC that is designed to provide prescription medications to uninsured and under-insured patients.

A Central Fill Pharmacy is a licensed pharmacy where all prescriptions are filled, packaged and shipped from a central location to a Point of Entry (POE), i.e. a local free clinic, health department, rural health clinic. Adults and children at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for NC MedAssist.  This webinar is targeted for all community members, particularly staff of Safety Net agencies.
